Claire is the Engagement Manager for ECPAT Child Alert. In this role, she trains frontline workers to recognise and respond to the commercial sexual exploitation of children in New Zealand. She also researches referral pathways across New Zealand and advocates for implementing better systems for victim-survivors of sexual violence in the absence of a national referral mechanism.

Claire is passionate about creating systems that create emotional and physical safety for victim-survivors as well as empowering them with knowledge of their options to navigate their personal circumstances and minimise secondary victimisation.
