- Ashley is a provisionally registered counsellor with NZAC

- Ashley is currently an educator at Weltec, where she specializes in trauma-informed care and addressing racial trauma within the Bachelor of Counselling and Addictions Practice degree

- She is the founder of the Maharani Movement, an organisation dedicated to supporting woman of colour as they heal from trauma and explore sensual embodiment and self-expression through counselling, Yoga, Tantra and Pole dance

- With ancestral leanings of Yoga and Tantra, Ashley has completed a 200-hour Yoga teacher training program and Comprehensive Trauma-informed Yoga training

- Ashley is a firm believer in the principle of “for survivors, by survivors” when it comes to providing support for survivors of trauma, specifically South Asian women survivors
